The 43rd UGT Confederal Congress, in person and in our building
The congress theme is ‘Redvolución6.0’ and will bring together 800 people
The event will be held from 18 to 20 May
The Valencia Conference Centre is set to host the 43rd UGT Confederal Congress, entitled ‘Redvolución6.0’ (Netvolution6.0). During the congress, the organisation will be approving its action plan for the next four years and conveying its current priorities to society. These are based on six core areas: employment, the economy, the Welfare State, society, Europe and dialogue.
The leading trade union in Spain and one of the country’s two most representative organisations, which has 132 years of history, a million members and 90,000 delegates, has chosen our building to hold its most important congress of the year.
“Valencia seemed like an ideal location and the Valencia Conference Centre is a perfectly equipped facility to host big events with large numbers of participants, as is the case of our congress. It meets all of our requirements.”
“COVID-19 was one of our concerns when we were planning the Congress, but we can see that the Centre is more than ready to hold our event, giving us total peace of mind and reassurance in terms of protocols, both for set-up and during the event, and the appropriate technology to guarantee optimum ventilation during the congress.”
These are the words of the organiser, who advocates an in-person event for around 800 people amid strict protocols that will guarantee the safety of the team and the delegates. Our building has become one of the safest venues in the country. This is endorsed by clients who have held their events with us during the past year, despite the pandemic.
