The Valencia Conference Centre has been awarded the first prize by the Eventoplus Group in the Best Congress category, for the candidacy presented in conjunction with the advertising agency Trílope, at the gala event held on 5th July in the Madrid Arena Multipurpose Pavilion.
The aim of these awards is to improve and promote the events sector by choosing the best projects that recognise the talent, creativity and involvement of customers and suppliers.
The candidacy presented by the Conference Centre and Trílope centred on the strategy and development of the 32nd AECOC Consumer Congress hosted in October 2017, and was a clear example of a team effort and of the partnership established between client, agency and venue, which was the cornerstone of the event’s success.
This award demonstrates the joint efforts and synergies of all the actors involved in each of the phases of the event’s development, from the strategy and definition of objectives, the design and communication of the messages, the staging and logistics, through to feedback after the event, emphasizing the importance of the results, for example, through customer satisfaction.
If you would like to learn more about the importance of this team effort in the words of AECOC’s General Manager, Jose Mª Bonmatí, go to our YouTube channel.
The awards ceremony was the culmination of the EventoDays fair, a two-day event for meeting tourism specialists that brought together suppliers, event organisers and clients to strengthen ties and share experiences. The Valencia Conference Centre participated in this fair as an exhibitor, showcasing its latest innovations in infrastructures and services, such as the latest generation of audiovisual equipment, the creation of new multifunctional spaces and its new investments in wireless connectivity.
