The Valencia Conference Center presents really good business figures, similar to 2019, one of the best years in our history.
The final month of 2022 is drawing to a close, and the Valencia Conference Centre has reported some rather impressive business figures, similar to those of 2019, which was one of the best years we’ve ever had. How exciting! Thanks to all the hard work from our team and the investments of over 2.1 million euros this year, we’ll end the year with 134 confirmed events and over 115,000 participants.
Despite gradually getting back to in-person activities after the pandemic and being unable to cover the renewal of the furniture in the main auditoriums due to the quiet months of July and August, the Conference Centre will end the year with good figures and a very positive outlook for 2023.
Specifically, the venue has hosted significant international events, including up to 32 conferences with around 63,810 overnight stays in the city. Among the most significant are: EAS 2022 – European Astronomical Society Annual Meeting, EDMR Europe Research and Practice Conference, International Annual Conference of the Metabolomics Society, International Zeolite Congress – IZA, Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Cirugía Ortopédica y Trauma – SECOT, III World Congress on Smart Tourist Destinations and the World Design Policies Conference (we’re hosting the last two as Valencia has been chosen as design capital and the capital of smart tourism).
But that’s not all, as it looks as though the activity forecast for 2023 could exceed that of 2022, with a significant international presence. 23 congresses are already organised for the upcoming year, such as the SIOP Europe Annual Meeting, Congreso Nacional de Diabetes, Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Prótesis and EFFOST International Conference, ESGAR 2023 – European Conference on Embolotherapy. The last two show how satisfied the organiser entities were, as they’ve chosen to come back to the Conference Centre having held their earlier events here.
You can find out about these events, and more, on our schedule..
Happy 2023! We look forward to continued success and boosting our city’s economy.
