The Valencia Conference Centre team and clients continue to work together to build events
We are contributing to the revitalisation of congress tourism
The team at the Valencia Conference Centre is currently working with enthusiasm, optimism and determination to continue building events, and we are convinced that the MICE industry will rise again and return to being one of the economic driving forces of our region and of our country. We are also confident that Valencia will once again be one of the leading destinations in which to hold national and international congresses.
Along these lines, and with a view to contributing to the revitalisation of congress tourism, we have joined the international campaign entitled ‘This Venue is Open for Business’, which is being promoted by the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC), the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, among other MICE organisations. This venture aims to encourage debate with the other venues that have joined the campaign, in order to address the current situation and facilitate the return to normal congress activity, once the pandemic has been brought under control by the health authorities.
All together. Our team and our customers are working together as one at this time and we are sure that these joint efforts are the key to success and will enable the Valencia Conference Centre and Valencia to continue to be benchmarks for congress tourism.
Likewise, the Conference Centre’s team is informing clients, suppliers and all the people we work with that, in this exceptional situation, in which health and government measures mark our daily existence, we are contributing to reducing the impact of the COVID-19 virus, following the current recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
In order to minimise direct contact and guarantee the safety of all the people we work with, the team at the Conference Centre is teleworking with our national and international clients. The use of the latest technology makes it easy to coordinate and work with our customers on the organisation of events that will be taking place in our venue over the next few months, once the pandemic is over and the WHO recommends a return to normality.
