More than 1,500 orthodontists to meet at Valencia Conference Centre
The 1st Conference on Aligners and New Technologies will be held on 23 and 24 September
There is no doubt that aligners are of increasing interest to odontologists due to the high demand for this type of orthodontics. It is estimated that our country already has the third highest volume of patients treated with aligners, surpassed only by the United States and China.
On 23 and 24 September Valencia Conference Centre will become the European headquarters of invisible orthodontics with more than 1,500 international orthodontists. As explained by the Spanish Society of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (SEDO), the organising body for the meeting, the conference will address the latest trends and newest advances in this field which are revolutionising orthodontics as we know it. Experts of the highest reputation, hundreds of sector professionals and the most cutting-edge companies will gather in the capital of the Turia. The idea, explains SEDO, is to “offer professionals a space in which to meet and discuss invisible orthodontics, exchange experiences and contribute to the progress of this revolutionary method”.
In addition, the Organising Committee of the Conference also wished to include other members of staff who form part of the clinics. As such, and running alongside the main programme, the Valencia 2022 event will also include related conferences, one aimed specifically at hygienists to further improve the quality of the service provided in treatments with aligners and another focused on the management of the centres, with contents specially designed for all professionals to learn how to give a “360º vision” to their clinics.
