From 25th to 28th September, vascular surgeons, nurses, specialists and professionals from all vascular surgery disciplines will be meeting in Valencia.
The 32nd Congress of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS) is one of the most relevant events in the vascular surgery industry. Over a four-day period, this annual meeting, which last year was held in Lyon, is expected to attract 1,500 specialists from around the world, and especially from Europe. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend plenary sessions (for instance plenary sessions for Vascular Nurses & Sonographers translated including wound care session), workshops, symposiums attended by international societies, and seminars on clinical leadership, academic leadership and clinical trial management. The scientific programme places special emphasis on training sessions and the presentation of the latest technical developments in vascular health care. The traditional meeting sessions will be complemented with other more innovative ones, such as fast-track sessions, and participants will also have the chance view vascular procedures in 3D, participate in burning debates and discussions, consensus, and update sessions with our voting system.
The most relevant figures taking part in the congress include Sir Richard Peto, Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford, and Dr. Sumaira MacDonald, Chief Medical Officer of Silk Road Medical, one of the most important companies in this field (California, USA).
The social programme included in the congress features networking opportunities and social activities, in which delegates can visit the traditional and modern areas of Valencia, and even register for a run along the 8km of gardens in the riverbed of the former Turia River, organised by the local committee.
