Yesterday, the Valencia Conference Centre and ADEIT signed an agreement which consolidates the mutual interest of both organisations in preserving, encouraging and strengthening quality and excellence in the organisation of events in the city, promoting smooth communication between society, business and universities.

The two entities aim to bolster the organisation and staging of scientific and technological events backed by professionals from ADEIT and the University of Valencia, at the Valencia Conference Centre?s facilities.

The agreement was signed at ADEIT´s facilities by the Managing Director of ADEIT, Antonio Aracil, and by Sylvia Andrés, the Managing Director of the Valencia Conference Centre.

The agreement aims to encourage both organisations to work together more closely, boosting contacts with professionals linked to the university whose professional career and prestige will give added consistency to bids aimed at attracting events to the city of Valencia. In addition, the Conference Centre brings its organisational experience and know-how in putting together bids, providing the human and technical resources professionals need to stage events.

In the words of Sylvia Andres, the Managing Director of the Valencia Conference Centre, “the signing of this agreement enables the players involved in event tourism to join forces, creating new opportunities to make Valencia a reference point for academic meetings and an essential venue for national and international congresses”.
