Around 500 knee specialists drawn mostly from across Europe are to meet up at the Valencia Conference Centre on 2-3 May 2019 to discuss knee arthroplasty.

Following its last meeting in Rome, the European Knee Society has chosen Valencia for its next conference due to its location and attractiveness as a destination for participants.

The gathering will feature presentations of the latest surgical developments, state-of-the-art science and sharing practical knowledge about arthroplasty as the basis for healthcare professionals’ continuous learning.

One of the event’s organisational challenges is its large number of exhibitors, something which brings into play the building’s enormous versatility as its main auditoriums are alongside the exhibition area on the same floor.

Conference participants will be seeking to move forward in arthroplasty and enhance patient care by attending numerous work sessions and groups at which the most innovative surgery techniques and most recent treatments are to be presented. Intended for healthcare teams which have to tackle a range of degenerative knee processes such as arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis on a daily basis, they are designed to reduce pain and restore movement of the joint and the function of the muscles and other tissues which control the knee.
