International experts in cystic fibrosis are set to meet in Valencia at the 33rd European Cystic Fibrosis Conference organised by the European Cystic Fibrosis Society in conjunction with the Spanish Federation and the Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Society.
The conference aims to act as a discussion forum for the latest advances in daily clinical practice. The conference has a multidisciplinary focus and will be attended by doctors who specialise in cystic fibrosis, nutritionists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and cystic fibrosis sufferers. The objective is to keep abreast of the latest cystic fibrosis treatments and to share good practice contributed by international leaders and clinical teams which specialise in this area.
The purpose of this congress is to ensure that the largest number of health professionals who work with cystic fibrosis and who cannot normally go to conferences held outside Spain can take part in the event.
This 33rd European Cystic Fibrosis Conference will be chaired by Doctor Amparo Solé, a pneumologist at the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the La Fe University Hospital.
