During a week in April, the Valencia Conference Centre will become the debating headquarters of the European Economic Recovery Plan. This meeting seeks a new deal on vital new and traditional industrial sectors in order to foster economic growth and job creation, as well as maintaining our high standards of quality of life.
The fourth conference on the 7th RTD Framework Programme will be held over two days under the title: The European RTD Framework Programmes: From Economic Recovery to Sustainability. This conference will be the central event of the FP7: European Innovation and RTD Transforming Sectors Week. The conference has been organised by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) under the auspices of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union during the first semester of 2010.
The conference will tackle major aspects of the new European R&D industrial initiatives which are to be carried out as part of the 7th Framework Programme. They include “Energy Efficient Buildings”, ?Factories of the Future?, “Green Cars? and ?Future Internet?, which are key investment areas in the European Recovery Plan.
A whole host of other co-located events will also be held alongside the conference, such as the assemblies of the relevant industrial associations, the Future Internet Assembly and Forum and events about other technological platforms, such as CELTIC, which is a EUREKA cluster event, and NESSI (the Networked European Software and Services Initiative), as well as several management committees.
Registration and the full programme are available on the conference?s website:
