The Valencia Conference Centre will be hosting the SEPA Junior Congress on 9th and 10th November. This annual meeting, organised by SEPA (the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration), is specifically aimed at professionals who are still in training and wish to broaden their knowledge of the field thanks to the latest advances in this area.
More than 300 professionals will be attending SEPA Junior 2018, where they will be able to participate in a programme featuring important new developments and the keys to holistically treating patients with periodontitis based on a range of different viewpoints.
During the two days of the event, a total of six speakers will be presenting their approaches to the holistic treatment of periodontal patients. The first day will be the turn of doctors Ana Torres, Iris Iborra, Sergio Martínez and Manu Bratos, who will be discussing mucogingival surgery, and the process of rehabilitation and cosmetic improvements for periodontal patients, among other topics.
On the second day, Dr. Ana Echeverría and her colleague Silvestre Ripoll will be focusing exclusively on active periodontal treatment. These conferences will be complemented by round tables, debates and a research poster competition.
SEPA is currently one of the most important scientific societies in the field of oral health whose objective is to bring gum health to the entire population. This commitment to society takes the form of different projects, including training programmes and assistance in opening a dental clinic in Uganda.
