We’ve asked 2022 for many things, many wishes, and these include the desire to see our building full of live music and shows, making us one of the foremost proponents of art and culture in our city, Valencia. Which is why we’re going to tell you today about all the cultural and musical experiences that are available to you at the Conference Centre during January and February.

Begin the year with a classical concert

It’s said that the New Year’s Concert is one of those indispensable traditions that you have to experience with your entire family during the holidays. The Classical Orchestra of Santa Cecilia will play classics by Strauss such as the Blue Danube, the Radetzky March and many others live on 2 January. You don’t want to miss it, do you?

At the Puerta del Sol, as the year that was… the Tribute to Mecano arrives in January.

This homage takes you for a night to one of their huge concerts, as if you were one of those voices of thousands that sang the lyrics in unison with this 80’s Madrid band in those times. Daughter of the Sun is a Tribute to Mecano meant to be gifted during these holidays and enjoyed on the 8th of January. Link to tickets

Opera and ballet

Our schedule also includes several classical dance shows and opera in Valencia. Great classics such as Carmina Burrana which takes place on 26 January or Russian ballet classics such as the Nutcracker and Swan Lake staged on 2 and 3 January.

The Film Symphony Orchestra re-emerges with its tour “Phoenix” and a concert dedicated to “Bridgerton”.

The Film Symphony Orchestra returns to Valencia’s Conference Centre with PHOENIX, an exciting show with the best film music that depicts the resurgence of life, art and culture. Listen to soundtracks from The Matrix, Life is Beautiful and West Side Story on 4 and 5 February in Valencia.

But before that, if you’re a fan of the Netflix series “Bridgerton”, you can also enjoy the soundtrack of this popular series that recreates the British aristocracy of yore, played by the Film Symphony Orchestra on 15 January.
