Almost a quarter of a century reaching significant milestones in sustainability
We’re almost a quarter of a century old! And we are excited to be celebrating and hosting four-day international face-to-face events once again, after more than a year of the pandemic. We are also working on major sustainability initiatives that are moving us forward on our journey towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our anniversary coincided with the conclusion of the four-day on-site EANS Training Course – Vascular medical congress, organised by the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies’ (EANS) Training Committee, amidst strict safety measures. Since we resumed operations in July 2020, the safety protocols and technological projects that we have implemented at the Valencia Conference Centre have helped conference organisers to regain confidence in face-to-face meetings. In the last year, fifty events have been held, attended by over 20,000 people, maintaining 66% of the activities planned prior to the pandemic.
And now comes the moment you have all been waiting for. The time capsule! Yes. The Conference Centre team wants to celebrate the venue’s 23rd anniversary with you and is looking forward to receiving your sustainability wish.

We are convinced that your wishes will contribute to making the building a more sustainable venue and will help the city to make progress towards complying with the Sustainable Development Goals, boosting its bid to become the 2024 European Green Capital and a Carbon Neutral Tourism Destination in 2025.
You may be wondering when the time capsule will be opened. 2030! The year in which, thanks to everybody’s unwavering commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, the 2030 Agenda, the great global pact to achieve universal social wellbeing, will be completed.
