These are the milestones that shaped the 2019 Annual Report
Every year, and there are now 22 of them under our belt, we remember many moments that go on to become milestones in the history of the Valencia Conference Centre.
2019 will be remembered for many of these milestones. Here they are:
We grew in terms of business. We generated a major economic impact and improved profitability. We increased our activities by 34%, which generated 99,386 overnight stays in the city of Valencia.
We grew in terms of internationalisation. 61% of congress delegates came from outside Spain, a percentage that makes the Conference Centre a benchmark for congress tourism at world level.
We grew in terms of competitiveness. We improved the infrastructure at the Centre and the new networking areas contributed to improving the customer and delegate experience.
We grew in terms of commitment. We boosted our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts by organising non-profit events.
We grew in terms of satisfaction and external recognition. Throughout the year we gave voice to our customers by making their experiences the focus of our communication strategy.

Circumstances permitting, we hope to repeat last year’s results in 2021. In the meantime, the team, together with our strategic allies and customers, continues to work hard to reach this goal.
