We encourage you to remember what you experienced (and we experienced) in 2021

Shall we return to 2021? We invite you on a short journey through time through our corporate annual report

Face to face events, strengthening of the strategic pillars, and the time capsule event take centre stage this year

2021 was an intense year, which the Conference Centre team will remember as a year of reconstruction, reinvention – the year of the comeback. They were 12 months in which in-person attendance was once again able to take hold and in which customers returned to the building to discover the new experiences offered by face to face live events.

Some of you, after holding your event in the building, told us of you satisfaction, as in the words left for us by the president of the organising committee of the III Interdisciplinary Conference on Human Genetics, Javier García-Planells, for which we are deeply grateful.

“The advantage of in-person attendance is that we have achieved a number of attendees which, probably, would not have occurred online and, above all, the personal interaction. It is the only way to establish great relationships on a personal, professional, and scientific level, as we are finding out at this event”.

In this post, we invite you to remember last year, after the Board of Directors approved the 2021 Annual Report, in which our activity generated income double that of the year before and the diary recorded a total of 84 events and 50,925 attendees. Of these, 19 were conferences and conventions, and 90% were national and international conferences. In addition, we submitted 89 nominations for major events, which have contributed to strengthening the current and future portfolio.

2021 was possible thanks to your trust and the strengthening of our strategic pillars: digitalisation, competitiveness and sustainability. These are the axes that have once again promoted the València Conference Centre as a leading and competitive venue on a national and international level.

As a symbol of our commitment to sustainability we have created a time capsule, made from recycled glass, which we will fill with sustainable wishes and commitments and will open in 2030, which is when the Agenda 30 of the United Nations comes to an end. Have you left your message in the capsule? You can do it here.

Through actions such as these, during last year we continued advancing in our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals. Do you want to see what happened in 2021 in more detail? The 2021 Annual Report
