Around 5,000 people will be taking part in this event, which aims to promote healthy eating and solidarity. The races will be held in the Paseo de la Alameda on 29th October, with thousands of people that are committed to healthy eating habits and to fighting cancer, taking to the streets, improving their quality of life and contributing to raise money to fight the battle against cancer. The events include a 5 km walk, a run, and skating and spinning races. These events are part of the Valencia Run Cancer circuit, which has already organised 40 charity walks and 21 charity races throughout the province of Valencia, bringing together over 36,000 participants who have raised a grand total of \u20ac142,000. All the money raised goes towards funding pre-doctoral scholarships for young Valencian researchers in biomedical institutions in order to find a cure for cancer through research.<\/p>\n
