The 5th Congress on Trends in Medical Mycology (TIMM-5) will be held in Valencia Conference Centre, 2- 5 October 2011.
TIMM-5 is the 5th in the series of TIMM mycological international meetings organized jointly by the European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM) and the Infectious Diseases Group of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (IDG-EORTC) and has become an important and essential meeting in the field of fungal infections, a forum in which clinicians and basic researchers from all over the world exchange research results and opinions on medical practice.
Indeed, they gather to learn the most important advances in mycology from basic science to clinical research.
The outstanding scientific programme will include plenary sessions on fungal infections in all aspects of immunocompromised hosts led by an internationally renowned faculty, round table sessions, and meet-the experts meetings. The poster session will encourage one to- one discussions between faculty, presenters and delegates. The meeting is designed for infectious disease specialists, hematologists, oncologists, transplant physicians, microbiologists, intensivists, immunologists, dermatologists, pediatricians, and all those with interests in medical mycology.
