Science, innovation and health to the fore in an historic autumn at Valencia Conference Centre
We kick off the new season hosting the event with the most exhibitors in the history of the venue. From environmental sustainability to medical research, we present a diverse programme of conferences that will leave a legacy of knowledge in the city.
With the start of the new conference season, we embark on a programme of conferences that, in just a few months, will bring together thousands of professionals from around the world, linked to fields as diverse as health, energy, medical research, and a new sector for our portfolio: aquaculture.
September: the month of blue sustainability
September will be remembered at the Conference Centre for the biggest date on the aquaculture calendar. We have hosted Aquaculture Europe 2025, the biggest European conference in the sector, with over 3,000 attendees an event that have connected science, innovation, policy and enterprise.
The event have also featured an international commercial exhibition that have set a new record in terms of exhibitors. As we told in our last article, collaboration with important institutions like the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the Regional Government of Valencia and the Spanish Government ensure a decisive contribution to shaping aquaculture policies. The conference have also seen over 500 presentations, an industrial forum, a forum on innovation and activities designed for students and young researchers.
But before that, we have started the season with the 30th edition of the International Congress for Battery Recycling (ICBR 2025), which brought together experts from around the world to discuss the life cycle of batteries, the energy transition, and the opportunities for recycling as the cornerstone of a more circular economy.
October and November: medicine and health to the fore
The last quarter of the year will be dominated by the leadership in the healthcare sector, with high-level scientific medical conferences of great international significance, attracting over 7,000 visitors to the Conference Centre to share and update their knowledge and discover the latest developments in the market.
This series of conferences includes international meetings such as the European Peritoneal Dialysis Meeting, an important event in peritoneal dialysis; the tenth edition of the ESWI Influenza Conference, a European conference on respiratory viruses; and the 40th EACTAIC Annual Congress, which focuses on cardiovascular anaesthesia and intensive care.
On the domestic front, we will be hosting conferences such as ESRA Spain, dedicated to regional anaesthesia and pain management; the National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Conference, on medical emergencies and life support; the SEED National Conference, which brings together specialists in digestive endoscopy; and the National Diabetes Conference by redGPDS Foundation.
An autumn that spreads knowledge
This programme of conferences shows that thematic and scientific diversity is a real part of our identity. We are committed to the role of the Conference Centre as a venue that connects science, sustainability, health and technology. With every event, Valencia is projected a little more as an international destination for applied knowledge, and Valencia Conference Centre as a space that hosts, accompanies and amplifies the talent that passes through the auditoriums.
