FEVADIS, ASPAU, and Fundació Mira’m of the Valencian Community are organising the first “Good Life Conference” at the Valencia Conference Centre.

A day that is more than necessary! Take part!

The conferences will lead to a significant transformation in our society and improve the quality of life for people with autism and disabilities as it will provide a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices. The congress will take place at the Valencia Conference Centre on Saturday, 24 February 2024.

The event will include keynote lectures, research presentations, roundtables, and interactive workshops. It will also offer chances to form strategic partnerships and join a worldwide community of professionals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities throughout the entirety of their lives.

The ‘Good Life Conference’ will explore how the Quality of Life Model and necessary support systems can directly improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and disabilities, and ultimately benefit society. Two leading experts in the field will be at the conference: Agustín Illera and Míguel Ángel Verdugo. They have received numerous national and international awards in recognition of their exceptional careers, which celebrates their scientific contributions to understanding disabilities.

The inaugural Good Life Conference will unite professionals, researchers, families, academics, and opinion leaders who are interested in exploring the latest trends and advances in the quality of life for people with disabilities. At the event, keynote speakers will share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on the quality of life model. They will address key issues such as assessment, intervention, and factors that influence quality of life in various contexts.
