Major musical shows await you at the Valencia Conference Centre

Our spaces play host to several stage shows and live music. Masterpieces and great staging that will make the visiting public vibrate in unison with the music. Which is why today we’d like to tell you all about the shows you can experience at the Conference Centre of Valencia over the following months.

Relive the most legendary film soundtracks at Valencia

The Conference Centre specialises in listening, in knowing how to listen and feel, in functioning not just as a proponent of knowledge but also an amplifier of art and culture, a discerning connoisseur of good music within its walls. This is why our spaces play host to several stage shows and live music. Masterpieces and great staging that will make the visiting public vibrate in unison with the music. Which is why today we’d like to tell you all about the shows you can experience at the Conference Centre of Valencia over the following months.

On 21 November, the Royal Film Concert Orchestra returns to our Auditorium to pay homage to three great film composers such as Hans Zimmer, Morricone and Williams. Conducted by Fernando Furones, the orchestra will play a selection of blockbuster film soundtracks.

From the Pirates of the Caribbean theme to Pearl Harbour, across Gladiator, Harry Potter or Star Wars and its Imperial March. Songs that represent legendary moments in cinema and which you can relive at the Conference Centre on Sunday 21 November.

On 17 December, you can also listen to the “Homage to Hans Zimmer and other cinema greats” in our auditorium which has a holding capacity of nearly 1500. Book your tickets before they run out here

“The show must go on” hand in hand with “Symphonic Rhapsody of Queen”

In one of their most famous songs, Queen said: The show must go on. And this is what we do at the Conference Centre, where we know that it’s time for the show to begin. This is why you can listen to Queen and Freddie Mercury in Valencia before the year is over, thanks to this new international show.

The “Symphonic Rhapsody of Queen” lands at Valencia on 11 December with a new configuration, a new stage design, and setting which have already been enjoyed by nearly a million individuals. Don’t miss this homage to a legendary British band of the 70’s. Book your tickets at this website now.

The Nutcracker: A fairy-tale before Christmas

In December you can see Tchaikovsky’s classical and elegant ballet at our centre: The Nutcracker. Classical dance live in Valencia. Live the essence of the Russian National Ballet before Christmas on 23rd December, tickets available here. A perfect gift for someone at the Conference Centre where they can experience all kinds of shows.

But we also have many more shows scheduled for 2022. Here’s a link to our programme where you can gradually learn about all scheduled shows, but first, a few early tips on how to celebrate the new year…

Begin the year with a classical concert

It’s said that the New Year’s Concert is one of those indispensable traditions that you just have to experience with your family during the holidays. The Classical Orchestra of Santa Cecilia will play classics by Strauss such as the Blue Danube, the Radetzky March and many others live on 2 January. You don’t want to miss it, do you?

At the Puerta del Sol, as the year that was… the Tribute to Mecano arrives in January.

This homage takes you for a night to one of their huge concerts, as if you were one of those thousand voices that sang the lyrics in unison with this 80’s Madrid band in those times. Daughter of the Sun is a Tribute to Mecano meant to be gifted during these holidays and enjoyed on the 8th of January. Link to tickets

Ismael Serrano returns once again to the Conference Centre

Once again Ismael Serrano places his trust in our building and its acoustics to host his songs live. We’ll see him on our stage on 13 January and you can also see him by buying tickets here.
