Valencia Conference Centre, setting for the 11th Conference of the Framework Program for Research and Innovation of the European Union in Spain

Organised by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) in collaboration with the Ministry for Science and Innovation and the European Commission, to analyse the first year of Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation.

In March 2021 Horizon Europe was created as the key funding programme for research and innovation. The programme will last until 2027 and focuses on achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosting the EU’s competitiveness and growth.

One year on, a thousand people will meet at the Valencia Conference Centre to analyse the last 12 months of the programme which promotes industrial competitiveness and innovation, and considers new innovations and necessary strategies to encourage participation in Spanish organisations.

The 11th Conference of the Framework Program for Research and Innovation of the European Union in Spain is organised by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), an organization belonging to the Ministry of Science and Innovation, which promotes innovation and technological development in Spanish businesses.

The conference is a 100% in-house production by the Valencia Conference Centre and will be held in the main spaces of the building. CDTI, the event organiser, has chosen to use digital signage and the technology which our building offers to organisers, as well as the design and ‘staging’ of several set designs in the auditoriums where the conference will take place. In addition, a networking zone for attendees has been created.

The event will be attended by the main Spanish programme leaders and participating entities, such as technology centres and technology start-ups.

There will also be the opportunity to hold meetings with experts to receive advice on Horizon Europe as well as bilateral meetings with other participants.
