We have received ‘COVID-19 ready’ certification through the Spanish Secretary of State for Tourism’s SICTED Project
This distinction recognises the efforts made by the Conference Centre in terms of health and safety.
The distinction was obtained after passing an external audit that guarantees compliance with strict safety measures in the building
The Valencia Conference Centre team has turned the building into a leading venue in terms of safety at national and international level, thanks to the strict requirements we have implemented to reduce the risk of contagion from the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. These protocols help to build up trust among our customers and help us to face the future with greater optimism.
These efforts have been rewarded in the SICTED Project, which has granted the Conference Centre ‘COVID-19 ready’ certification. The initiative has been promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism to support tourist facilities in adapting to the return to normality after the pandemic. The Conference Centre has complied with SICTED’s Advanced Best Practices, based on the COVID-19 risk infection reduction guidelines for the tourism industry, drawn up by the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Ministry of Health, in conjunction with the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE).
What exactly was assessed?
The audit included a thorough review of the venue’s cleaning and maintenance protocols contained in the Contingency Plan created to protect the health of event staff and attendees, the response in case of symptoms compatible with COVID-19 and the measures to be taken in its relations with other stakeholders, such as the Centre’s strategic allies.
