The Conference Centre is ready

We are working on innovation projects to adapt to the new situation

We are facing new technological, sustainable, safety and experience challenges

A lot has happened since the Covid-19 virus burst onto the scene, and the team at the Valencia Conference Centre is currently facing many challenges. Yet what has not changed in these two months in which society has been totally transformed is the enthusiasm with which the team continues to work, hand in hand with its strategic allies. We are ready to relaunch MICE tourism, one of the main drivers of the local economy and of Spain as a whole.

The Conference Centre is innovation-ready

Work is being done on research and innovation projects, such as the PalconExpand initiative, which will equip the Centre with the latest technology to host “hybrid” events, enabling up to 10,000 virtual participants to be accommodated alongside the delegates physically present at the venue. The Mapping Project adds powerful lighting equipment and 3D projection mapping designed and built for the purpose to the current infrastructure, resulting in spectacular staging options. Your Signage and Your Event offer organisers customised presentations, providing visual technology, animation and 3D features, and enabling personalised experiences of their meetings to be shown before they actually take place. In addition, the Overflow Project envisages the creation of an interconnected congress space to hold large meetings of more than 3,000 people whilst maintaining social distancing.

The Conference Centre is safety-ready

Our building has always excelled as a safe venue and we are currently developing new control systems to guarantee event organisers maximum safety for their activities and for the people attending their meetings. Accordingly, we are working to ensure that all policies and procedures that help to safeguard the health and safety of event participants are in place and up to date.

The Conference Centre is sustainability-ready

The team is moving a step further in sustainability and is currently focusing on strengthening the Centre’s environmental commitment by aligning all our operations with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDAs).

The Conference Centre is ready in a city that is ready

We also want to contribute to the ‘reconstruction’ of Valencia, so that it will once again become the setting for important national and international events. A city that is more ready, more prosperous and more alive than ever.

Let’s keep going! #TheConferenceCentreisready
