The Conference Centre turns red to mark the International Day of Education

Thanks to this initiative, we are making progress in complying with the UN SDGs

We are supporting Goal 4 of the SDGs, to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all

The Valencia Conference Centre has changed colour yet again for another good cause. This time, red was chosen to mark the International Day of Education, which took place yesterday. An initiative with which we intend to show our most human side and take another step forward in our commitment to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Specifically, we are supporting the promotion of SDG 4 to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. In short, creating a world in which no one is left behind.

Over the last few years, the team at the Conference Centre has been focusing on strengthening its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, aligning all its MICE actions with the 17 SDGs. Thus, we are prepared to join the great international Global Compact, the 2030 Agenda and contribute to universal social welfare.

In this sense, in 2020 we launched the SDG Project, a global initiative that encompasses everything we do, promoting, in conjunction with our suppliers and customers, sustainable and responsible actions that foster the cultural, economic and social development of Valencia and initiatives that reinforce our commitment to the public and help build a better future.

Our building will be lit up on the main awareness days and will be participating in the initiatives organised by Valencia City Council. The idea behind this project is to capture the public’s attention and make them think, increasing their awareness of charitable causes.
