Latest advances in coloproctology at the Valencia Conference Centre

The valencian venue will host from 20 to 22 May the 19th National Meeting of the Spanish Association of Coloproctology, involving more than 500 attendees who will address the latest trends in diagnosis and treatment of colorectal pathology

Five hundred participants, mostly specialists in surgery, will meet at the Valencia Conference Centre on Wednesday, May 20 to attend the most important national Conference of the Spanish Association of Coloproctology (AECP), one of the scientific societies that has obtained greater boom in General Surgery and digestive.

This consolidated meeting will attract numerous national experts and international speakers, mainly Europeans and Americans, who will share experiences and research. Besides, this year will be the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the AECP Foundation and in this Edition, Dr. Willem Bemelman, Professor at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, will be honored as honorary member of the FAECP.

The Organizing Committee is chaired by Dr. Juan García Armengol (Co-Director of the Central European of surgery colorectal. The scientific program, includes several topics of interest to be addressed from the complications and rehabilitation in colorectal surgery, anal incontinence, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, or cancer of colon among others.

 

The Congress will be preceded by a of advanced surgery colorectal symposium live in the Hospital Universitari i Polytechnic La Fe and in addition will be taught a course of coloproctology for 200 primary care physicians.
